Global Mobility for Anagold Gold Mine Project

“Our goldmine project required 200 nationals and a Global Mobilisation service to mobilise 15 commissioning specialists.”

  • After winning a construction management contract for the Anagold Gold Mine Project, based in eastern Turkey, our client had the challenge of mobilising 200 local Turkish construction management personnel and mobilising 15 commissioning specialists for eight months.

  • For the 200 local personnel, the end client was able to bring 60% of their own staff however, Pangea assisted in searching and mobilising 40% (80) of personnel on the project during the construction stage.

As self-employment structures are not the norm in Turkey, we deployed a fully employed solution and assisted in local compliant payroll.

We initiated our Talent Acquisition and Global Mobilisation services in order to execute this project to the client’s specification. Due to the number of personnel being mobilised, we structured bi monthly site visits in order to make sure a smooth process was adhered too.

For expatriate mobilisation services; we managed all processes from:

    - Work permit application.

    - Visa approval.

    - Flight arrangement for mobilisation and rotation assistance.

    - Local bank account setup.

    - Local registration in line with Turkish legislation.

    - Accommodation arrangement when camp site capacity reached.

    - Local tax and social security payment management.

    - Adhoc services.

  • Due to having the correct personnel on site, it enabled the construction schedule to have been met on time and to budget, and now the project is under commissioning stage. The construction team have now been demobilised from site.

Due to the delivery of resource, providing full mobilisation for the consultants and Pangea’s continual presence on site, the result of this search was very successful and Pangea continues to work on a variety of projects, with this client, globally.
