Our client, a global leading technology manufacturer within the water and wastewater treatment space, recently won a number of Water Treatment plants in Europe. With a revolutionary product to bring to the market, they were looking to expand their sales team in 2 x strategic European locations. Operating in a very niche area, our client was having trouble finding Sales Managers to join the team, to help with this global expansion. These were two crucial positions, as they were needed to sell RO Membranes to large EPCs and OEMs and deal with end-users as part of the business proposition, however, with only a small network in Europe our client was having trouble filling the roles and were unable to find strong individuals who had the right membrane experience.
After identifying their challenges, Pangea worked closely with the client to create a strong brief, identifying what they were looking for and their international expansion plans, giving us a clear picture of the business and allowing us to see the benefits of the role and company to potential clients. From there, Pangea created a headhunting list of the market, of individuals, who are in the market with the right space and skillset to be successful.
After identifying the shortlist, Pangea managed both the client and candidates through interviews to the offer stage, to ensure both parties were aligned throughout the process and ensure a positive outcome for both parties. We also supported the candidate throughout the resignation process to mitigate any chances of a counteroffer being accepted.
After performing the headhunting service, Pangea was able to place two Sales Managers into the team. This has allowed the client to have a strong presence in key strategic areas within the European RO market and drive sales revenues.
