A world leader in water treatment solutions, IDE specializes in the development, engineering, construction
and operation of desalination, water reuse, and industrial water treatment plants.

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible to develop and coordinate Sales activities with
the sales leadership team. The SDR will be responsible for identifying and generating leads, and market
prospects, and preparing the Sales Leadership team for the next steps. The SDR will report directly to the
CEO of IDE Americas.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Duties of the Sales Development Representative include but are not limited to the following.
• Document daily activities and coordinate with sales team leadership
• Respond to all inbound leads and forward qualified leads to Account Executives / Sales Directors
• Pro-actively connect with prospects via phone, email, on online
• Build relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
• Identify prospects needs to determine if they are a qualified lead
• Conduct market research to identify if prospects are a good fit
• Network and identify new lead prospects through internet research and social media
• Utilize Salesforce to generate new opportunities
• Analyze data for accurate forecasting
• Manage and maintain database of leads and pipelines

Qualifications and Skills:

• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience
• Engineering and/or technical background is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in business a plus
• Good analytical skills
• Presentation skills
• Able to work in a busy environment
• Able to lead, challenge, and work as part of a diverse team
• Practical aptitude, self-motivated, and a confident communicator
• Successfully pass a background test and drug test
