Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in water and wastewater treatment systems? We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to oversee complex industrial and municipal projects, ensuring successful execution from start to finish. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact projects and manage all aspects of project delivery, from engineering through to commissioning and warranty expiration.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the execution of industrial water and wastewater treatment projects, ranging from equipment supply to full design-build scopes. You’ll work across multiple teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.

- Lead project execution: Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
- Collaborate with clients: Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, ensuring their needs are met and that the scope of the project is clearly defined.
- Coordinate internal resources: Communicate project requirements, goals, and deliverables to internal teams, ensuring smooth operations throughout the project.
- Manage budgets and costs: Oversee project budgets, controlling costs, forecasting revenue, and ensuring timely invoicing and reporting.
- Ensure timely project completion: Develop detailed schedules, delegate tasks, and maintain strict project timelines.
- Maintain relationships: Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring smooth communication and project flow.
- Project reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, cost performance, and progress toward completion.
- Review contracts and documentation: Ensure contract terms are met and review key engineering documents such as P&IDs, layouts, and vendor submissions.
- On-site project oversight: Travel to project sites as necessary, coordinating with field teams and ensuring the project adheres to quality standards and client specifications.
- Experience: At least 10 years in project management or engineering, with experience in industrial plant or equipment projects—preferably in the water treatment or related sectors.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is required. A Professional Engineer (PE) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of mechanical, structural, process, and piping design, as well as experience with hydraulics and industrial equipment.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, ASANA, or Smartsheet. Familiarity with AutoCAD and Adobe Acrobat is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce detailed reports, proposals, and technical documentation.
- Project Planning: Ability to plan and execute projects independently, manage resources effectively, and make sound decisions to keep projects on track.
- Contract Management: Experience with interpreting contracts, handling submittals, and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
- ERP System Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems for cost control, purchasing, and forecasting is preferred.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
