Head of US Power Analysis (Quantamental)

We are partnering with a prestigious trading merchant who are maturing their US Power Analysis efforts.

Responsbilities: The firm is looking for a Senior member to work closely with the Software Dev and Quantitative team, partnering closely with traders to commercialize trade ideas.

• Providing modeling and analysis behind ideas from traders (risk vs reward vs scalability). 
• Core purpose of the job is doing the analytics and modeling to commercialize trade ideas. Discussing models and what happens in the market. 
• Centralized desk for trade idea generation and fundamental analysis/modeling (supply/demand, macroeconomics).

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience across US Power markets / fundamental modeling.
• US Power North America hollistic approach (ERCOT, North East preference)
• Python programming
• Soft skills

Location: Multiple locations across the US.
