Commissioning Engineer

I’m currently working exclusively with a global power generation corporation, who work across multiple sectors bringing to life projects. They are currently looking for a Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join them on one of their Datacentre projects in Frankfurt.

 
Duration: 12 Months + Extensions 

Scopes of work:

• Prepares, plans, coordinates, performs and reports on commissioning activities and tests at customer sites on Power Generation equipment supplied by the client in a low and medium voltage range.
• Supervises equipment installation activities and leads commissioning activities on clients  scope of supply
• Conducts minor mechanical and electrical maintenance on equipment as required during installation and commissioning phase
• Performs testing in accordance with established test procedures and methodology. Consistently provides accurate and reliable test results.
• Has an in-depth understanding of the function on of the test equipment used to perform test and the contribution of the test equipment to the validity of the test results.
• Configures and operates data acquisition systems; analyzes and reviews data for appropriateness.

Experience Required:

• Previously experience in similar role on a datacentre project is preferred.
• Electrical commissioning on generators/gensets/auxiliary systems or systems in similar industries such as large scale infrastructure or energy projects.
