CHALLENGE

Green Tower is a major investor in global renewable energy projects. In 2023 the business needed to hire key roles within their newly established French subsidiary, Sunvest SAS. 

This joint venture needed a Director of Development and a Co-Country Manager combined into one role. Skilled leaders were needed to manage and guide the Sunvest SAS development team, ensuring efficient project progress. The ideal candidate needed to be able to execute Green Tower’s development strategy within the French market, considering local regulations and opportunities. The team needed to be able to effectively co-manage operations with a local partner, whilst navigating the French market.

SOLUTION

Jesse Jaso, Senior Partner at Pangea Talent Solutions was referred to Beniot Lepecquet, Sunvest France’s Business Development Director by Kevin Le Tenouex, a director at Green Tower. The two worked together ensuring the search strategy and job advertisements on LinkedIn were relevant to the French audience and written in French. By working together Jesse ensured Sunvest were presented with a targeted pool of highly relevant and qualified candidates.

RESULTS

Pangea’s targeted search identified a strong pool of candidates, exceeding the success of other recruitment agencies Green Tower had partnered with. The successful candidate was placed in early 2024 and started in April 2024, ticking many of the boxes Green Tower were looking for; a development background, large-scale agri-PV projects experience and having previously led a large team. This key hire bolstered Sunvest SAS’s development team and positioned them for successful project execution. 

Green Tower have since requested continued collaboration leading to a retained search agreement.
